Bringing Blueberries to has been a challenge because of all of the obstacles to growing Blueberries in our soils and climate. However, we've done it!

Some of the challenges to growing blueberries in Utah include:
     Soil PH
High amount of carbonates in the soil
     Climate & Growing Season
     Birds

We grow different varieties of blueberries to extend the growing season from July - Early September. As with the raspberries, the flavor of our Blueberries is intensified by the high altitude and cool nights of our climate.

Our first planting was in 2005, so we are still learning as we go and developing better techniques for helping the plants thrive in our soils. In an way we are lucky with our location, because our little corner of Cache Valley is one of the few places in Utah where blueberries even have a chance of thriving. We hope that you'll stop by during the harvest to try some. Or pick some up from us at some of the local farmers markets here in Utah.
